Subject: Lindemann's trip across the Pacific
I first read this book when in college. I was under terrific pressure and accidentally found it in the University of North Carolina Library. Reading the amazing voyage of this former German soldier who became a physician after the war showed me that anything is possible given the will and courage to do it. Hannes Lindemann had a poets heart and the courage of a lion. Across the Pacific in a dug out canoe and again in a rubber fold boat. It would sounds like fiction if it wasn't true. . . Enjoy. Dr. Mike L
